COVID-19: Stay-at-home Law and Domestic Violence

In January 2020 the Queensland government declared a Public Health Emergency and implemented new laws requiring Queenslanders to stay at home. There are exceptions that allow people to leave their homes in certain circumstances. Some of these exceptions include allowing a person to leave their home to escape from domestic violence.
