Corporate Support

Every person in the community has the ability to make a contribution to prevent domestic violence against women and the marginalisation of women’s issues.

All donations and support assist NQWLS to deliver critical legal assistance to women in North and Far North Queensland.

NQWLS welcomes new corporate supporters who wish to make a difference in the community. These relationships can be flexible and tailored to best meet the interests of your organisation.

 

For example, a corporate supporter might:

  • Make a commitment to a sponsorship;

  • Commit funds to support specific services or projects of NQWLS;

  • Sponsor additional staff to enable more women to access our service; and/or

  • Help fund our public education programs on domestic violence, healthy relationships, family law, sexual assault, child protection, and access to justice.

The activities of corporate supporters can also include:

  • Raising awareness about domestic violence and the work of NQWLS;

  • Nominating NQWLS as the charity of choice for fundraising events (for example, morning teas, conferences and festive season events);

  • Supporting NQWLS through workplace giving; and/or

  • Encouraging staff to become members of NQWLS and/or joining our regular giving program (our 1,000 Club).


NQWLS is a registered charity and all donations over $2.00 are tax deductible.
